Hello Crafters. Its that time of year again. Time to start thinking about booking your events for the year. All suggestions for making the Arts and Crafts fair easier for all will be welcomed.

If your application is “received before September 1st the application fee will be $55.00 for the 2 days. If your application is “received after September 1st and that includes calling or coming on the day of the fair, the application fee will be $60.00.

We realize that the parking situation for this event is very limited and it is difficult for the vendors to get their materials set up on the common. In the morning while you are unloading your materials you can park on the common or along the sides of the common, but you must move your vehicle after you are through unloading. Vendor parking is available at the back lot of the common along Rt 13 or on one of the smaller streets near the common and also at the Townsend Town Hall. If you need a ride back and forth to where your car is parked we will be happy to provide that service. If you need someone to watch over your booth while you are gone we will also be happy to help. There is no parking along the sidewalk on the Rt 119 or Rt 13 sides of the common. Parking is not allowed at any of the churches surrounding the common either. We would like to keep the Brookline Street side of the common open for “customers”. If people cannot find a spot to park they will not stop and shop. We will have dollies available and people to help unloading. Please call us in advance if you have any special needs for moving your craft material. We will be happy to help!

Please visit our website “www.townsendhistoricalsociety.org “. We now have the Arts & Craft Fair Application on line.

We will also be running the “Bring a Friend Program” this year. If you sign up an artist or crafter friend that has not attended our fair for at least two years, the fee for your space will be half price. This program only applies to crafters who regularly attend our fair year after year, not for first time crafters.

*Confirmation will be made by phone, e-mail and/or postcard so it is important that we have all this information filled out completely on the application.
